Bali Location and attraction

Karangasem is Bali's Eastern most regency, and its gate to the Lesser sunda Islands across the Lombok strait, which is a busy international sea lane. The most famous beach of Karangasem though, is Candi Dasa, a laid-back holiday resort at the eastern end of Amuk Bay, a good centre for snorkelling and diving with a wide choice of accommodation and restaurants to suit every taste and every pocket. It;s also a pleasant base from which to explore the east of bali, with easy road access to many of the main sights.
Jimbaran is a sleepy cove where fleets of fishing boats abound. This was once a very quiet area In the last couple of years, it has become even more busy, as grilled seafood restaurants have sprung up at a rapid pace along the beach, attracting many visitors.
Candidasa Bali lies on the beachfront in Manggis, about 65 kilometers from Denpasar, is about two hours driving from the Ngurah Rai International Airport. A nearby temple houses important archaeological remains, including figurines and statues, thus accounting for the area's popularity among tourists. Candidasa is a beautiful place to feel the other parts of Bali. Most hotels in Candidasa are situated near the beach.Unfortunately the beach is not suitable for swimming.
Canggu Bali, a new virgin tourism area in Bali, is located about 15 minutes driving from central Kuta. Canggu is developed as a positive impact of development progress in Kuta area and surroundings. However, you can also walk along the beach line of Kuta and Seminyak to the north and you will find Canggu. Visitors will find this place quiet, tranquil, and beautiful. Some prefer staying at this area, more than just a best alternative after Kuta and Seminyak.
Kintamani Bali Situated on the rim of an active volcano, Mount Batur, Kintamani Village overlooks the spectacular crater lake of Lake Batur. Kintamani is a great place for day trips, trekking, or hiking. At
Penelokan you can view the panorama of Mount Batur set in a huge volcanic crater basin. You may stop there on your way to Singaraja to climb the peaceful Pura Tegeh Kuripan. Exploring Kintamani while watching the sunrise is fun too. In addition to the sunrise, you can also see the beautiful Lake Batur it is about two kilometers down the Penelokan. Several restaurants on the rim offer a wonderful uninhibited vantage point to soak up the breathtaking vista.
Bangli bali, this Southern rice growing area, is one of the most enticing of the island, especially if one walks off main roads to the discovery of village lanes and ricefields. The magical charm of Bali is all there; clutter of shrines in midst of ricefields, alignment of brick gates in the village streets and the looming presence of the tall pule and giant banyan tree.
Klungkung bali , also known by its older name of Semarapura, is a bustling trading town, with plenty of things to see. Its highlights are the remains of the royal palace, collectively known as the Taman Gili, which include the ancient Kerta Gosa painted ceiling. Except for a few beaches and landscapes those of Nusa Penida are treated in another section most of Klungkung's interest lies in its historical heritage.
Nusa Penida, Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan ; Nusa Lembongan is sheltered by offshore coral reefs which provide excellent snorkelling and create the perfect conditions for seaweed farming. The tiny island of Nusa Ceningan, 4km long by 1km wide, is essentially a hill sticking out of the water, located picturesquely between Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Penida. Nusa Penida is too dry to cultivate rice, and while you'll see maize, cassava, beans and tobacco in the fields during the rainy season. The cluster of three island off East Bali, have their own character and charm.
